Canada's National Ballet School recruits the most talented dance students through a national recruitment tour followed by a second-stage 4-week assessment program; provides financial assistance to students; trains dance students for a professional ballet career; provides dance students with an academic education; provides students outside the GTA with residential care; provides career transition program to dance students; trains students and former dancers to become ballet teachers; provides professional development classes for dance teachers; provides dance classes for adults and part-time classes for children; offers seminars for dance teachers; provides workshops for dance teachers and musicians and open classes for children in communities across Canada; provides a broad range of community dance programmes for people of all ages and abilities.
