The Museum delivered the following new programs in 2016: -special exhibitions Beneath the Surface: Life, Death, Ceramics & gold in Ancient Panama, True Nordic: How Scandanavia Influenced Design in Canada and several lobby exhibitions including Sheridan College Graduating Class -Community Arts Space: Make It Real in partnership with five community and cultural organizations in Toronto -National Sculpture Competition for a new public artwork to be installed in front of the Museum -Community partnerships with Akin Projects, South Riverdale Community Health Centre, Crazy Dames, UnSpun Theatre, VIBE Arts, Talisker Players, Finnish Consulate, Danish Consulate -Free admission offered to all visitors under 18 years of age
