St. Matthews Day Care Society is a day care centre providing childcare services to the community. We also work with various government bodies for protection of children with problems at home, and working with children with physical, mental and developmental conditions (special needs). The centre is located in the high-risk / transient area of Edmonds / Kingsway in Burnaby, BC. At no additional cost to our families, all children in our care are provided a light breakfast, morning and afternoon snack, and a hot lunch. All snacks and meals are cooked by our in-house chef who takes into consideration Canada's Food Guide, food allergies and restrictions (for cultural reasons). We also provide opportunities for high school, college and university students to gain their work experience.
