Peer Support - Formal and Informal: Group and individual mental health peer support provided to the members of the organization and to outpatients of local hospitals. Informal support through drop-in and social activities. Building Community Capacity: Training peers to facilitate recovery based programming. Coordinating and supporting programs throughout the Ottawa community. Providing training, skills development and support for volunteers. Information Sharing and Public Education: Providing up-to-date information and workshops to our members. Prompting the idea of mental health recovery. Educating the public on the stigma and challenges faced by people with mental health issues.
