Domestic Violence - awareness program on cycle of abuse - such as What is abuse; Types of abuse; Violence against women and men; Family violence statistics; Breaking the cycle; Myths & facts; The affects of violence on the whole family; Safety planning; Resources Collages Anger Management - learning tools to control anger such as What is Anger; Aggression; Anger cycle; Breaking the cycle; Warning signs; Personal plan for peace; Self care Triple P Positive Parenting - Ensuring a safe engaging environment; creating a positive learning environment; assertive discipline; realistic expectations and taking care of yourself as a parent CPR Standard First Aide Level C AED - to enhance young parents & families of low income or anyone who needs skills of CPR to find employment or how to save a life Literacy - focusing on the younger children in our area and smaller groups to start with and expand as we get more experience. The need for learning; how to read at such a young age is an asset and would strengthen our community by having the children's parents, involved teachers and volunteers come together for such a great learnning and nonforgetful experience.
