Prince Rupert Crime Stoppers is a Community Resources Charity located in Prince Rupert, BC.

Services Provided by Prince Rupert Crime Stoppers
Prince Rupert Crime Stoppers submitted an application to fund restoration of a 1946 Mercury Police car originally used by the BC Provincial Police and then the RCMP after they took over. The vehicle operated in the Prince Rupert, Terrace and kitimat area. A grant of $15,000.00 was received from the Civil Forfeiture program of the Provincial Government. Work is being done by students in the Automotive program at Charles Hays Secondary School. The plan is to restore the vehicle so that it can be both an exhibit in the Prince Rupert Fire Museum and a vehicle which can be operated as a parade vehicle during events such as Seafest. The grant is administered by Prince Rupert Crime Stoppers. Due to scheduling at Charles Hays Secondary School..
