Forests Ontario is the voice for our forests. Working to promote a future of healthy forests sustaining healthy people, Forests Ontario is committed to the re-greening of Ontario through tree planting efforts on rural lands and in urban areas, as well as the renewal and stewardship of Ontario's forests through restoration, education and awareness. Forest Ontario is a provincial resource and trusted authority for those seeking to invest in the future of our forests - through donations, sponsorship, volunteerism, tree planting, community awareness events and forest management. Programs include restoration initiatives such as the government of Ontario's 50 Million Tree Program, community tree planting events and the national planting program Forest Recovery Canada, as well as education programs including Environthon, PLANT, and Forestry Connects.
