The Wainwright Military Family Resource Centre exists to provide services and programs to strengthen family life for Canadian Forces Members in the Wainwright area. The centre uses a community development approach for programming with particular attention to addressing issues unique to military families. The centre offers; deployment support; information and referral services; quality of life programming; volunteer development; employment and education assistance; crisis intervention and second language training. The centre also provides daycare services, an after school program and a summer splash/summer wave program for children.
