Conduct educational programs about Atlantic Salmon in local schools. Assist DFO in research projects related to wild Atlantic salmon. Tend legal DFO trapnets to count and measure salmon stocks. Tend DFO smolt wheels to count numbers of smolt in the rivers. Install fish tanks and salmon eggs in local schools to teach students about salmon life cycle. Awarded $500 scholarship to student enrolling in post secondary education.
