Hospitality Industry Training Organization of Ontario develops and markets a Responsible Server Training and Certification Program. The program is sold to establishments licensed to sell and serve alcohol and educational institutions involved with the hospitality industry. The training program provides the beverage server the information needed to understand and implement the skills of responsible alcohol service. It is dedicated to developing and delivering a responsible service training program to all individuals who serve alcoholic beverages or work where alcoholic beverages are sold and served in the province of Ontario. The program also provides scholarships at various universities and colleges in Ontario to support education in hospitality and tourism management.
