1. We provided 4 issues of our magazine to members, to inform and educate about food security. 2. We provided seed exchange directory to all members, making 3778 seed listings available. 3. Seedy Saturdays: We assist volunteer organizers in planning and execution of over 150 Seedy Saturdays. 4. This year 45 donors adopted a seed in our "Seed Library" program, saving those seeds forever. 5. We distributed an updated issue of our popular How to Save Seeds book, teaching buyers the techniques of saving seed. 6. We worked with over 150 volunteers across Canada promoting seed saving at events and lectures. 7. Our Pollination Canada project did outreach with 'bee floral calendar, among other public awareness initiatives to demonstrate the importance of pollinators. 8. We conducted a research program of field tests of a Canadian-invented technology that employs bees to deliver beneficial micro-organisms to flowers to reduce disease. 9. Bauta Seed Saving Initiative, funded by W. Garfield Weston Foundation: We are creating a web-based information system for seed conservators and variety filed testers. Also provide training and resources for seed growers, support for seed savers and farmer growers, etc.10. Vegetable Seed Growers Network is organizing knowledgeable and skilled growers into a connected network of seed producers.
