MMI continues to expand the impact of health care to the poor by empowering local partners to establish clinics in impoverished regions. Our partner clinic in Azebaijan is expanding eye surgery services to Ukraine. MMI Bolivia has purchased land and will be building and equipping a clinic focusing on vision and dental services. MMI Peru is acquiring land to build a new home for their vision, dental and physical therapy programs. MMI Amazon is expanding services down the Amazon River to remote indigenous peoples. They are the only health care service provider in the region.
