COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAMS provide individualized supports to people with serious mental illness in the community. These programs assist clients to access and maintain housing and employment and increase their social network. MENTAL HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAMS raise awareness about mental health issues, promote recovery and work to reduce stigma. Public Education workshops deal with understanding mental illness, recognizing and dealing with mental health issues in the workplace, suicide intervention skills and stress management. Educational materials is distributed through health fairs, me dia contacts, publications and media. MENTAL HEALTH ADN JUSTICE PROGRAMS provide mental health consultation and facilitates the diversion of mentally disordered offenders from the court system to treatment services.
