Arts Denman's Audio Arts committee sponsored and organized the very successful event:the "Taste of Denman" for a second year. This outdoor event combines a Wide Open Stage for ongoing entertainment provided by local musicians while food and beverages were provided by a cross-section of Denman Island growers and producers focusing on food produced on Denman Island. The event included an "Art Walk" where a variety of artworks created by local artists were available for sale. A new committee, Denman Early Music, will be presenting a Baroque Music Festival in 2017 and planning for this new venture is ongoing at this time. The event will feature three exceptional maestros from Europe attending as music and instrument directors and will offer a workshop on this early music period to 15-25 vocalists and instrumentalists with chamber concerts and at least one full concert offered as well as a community concert.
