CFUW/Nepean Scholarship Trust provides funds annually to the Algonquin College Foundation in support of women students in the Practical Nursing program of Algonquin College. In the 2016 year we provided $4,000. Between the start of our annual donations in 2006 and the 2016 donation the club has given a grand total of $23,200. As a small club with just over 50 members, we are proud of our achievement and hope to be able to continue to increase our donation in the future as circumstances permit. Funds are generated through fundraising events, donations, interest from GICs and scrupulous monitoring and renewal of the GICs on their maturity dates.
