The Okanagan Prostate Resource Centre Society (OPRCS) continues to maintain a resource centre where the executive director can meet with those men & their families who have been newly diagnosed with Prostrate Cancer. We do not diagnose, treat, or tell anyone what they should do, however, we can go over treatment options suggested by the physicians, & provide up-to-date information & resource materials over & above those provided by the doctors. We can also explain their diagnosis in simple terms. The executive director can also meet with individuals in the comfort of their homes. He has received many calls into the office from people throughout the interior & Kootenay Region of B.C. He also gives speaking presentation on prostrate cancer & male health issues to service clubs & other organizations.
