The Association also funds an AGM covering the costs of travel, meals and substitute costs. The Association in Partnership with Youth Science Canada and the University of Regina has been granted the right to host the 2017 Canada-Wide Science Fair on the University of Regina campus. This event assembles approximately 500 student scientists and 200 delegates (chaperones) to have their projects assessed by approximately 350 judges from the academic, scientific and industrial communities. It is the premier exposition of student project science in Canada. The week-long event will also feature STEAM- A Festival of Learning, featuring interactive booths showcasing science related businesses and educational groups in Saskatchewan. Also atten...nding will be the Innovation 150 Power of Ideas Tour sponsored by the Perimeter Institute and Actua.
