The Dr. Kingston Memorial Community Health Centre was established to serve the medical needs of the residents of our area. The society is administered by the clinic board - in it's executive form, The Directors of the Society. The doctors provide maintenance in the form of lights, heat, janitorial service, staff payroll, pharmaceutical needs and telephone. The clinic board is responsible for medical equipment replacement and general maintenance and expenses. The board relies on public donations and fund-raising activities to carry out their role. The board provides education and preventative medicine programs through a Department of Health coordinator.
