Providing information regarding celiac disease and a gluten free diet to member, newly diagnosed celiacs and others through meetings, email, Facebook and one on one consultations. Advocating on behalf of celiacs to encourage local restaurants and retaile rs to offer gluten free products and to display and serve them safely to avoid cross-contamination. Providing awareness and education to the general public via health fairs, displays and info sessions. Holding chapter meetings to facilitate the exchange of information for members and non-members. Donating gluten free products to the local food bank twice a year. Selling our gluten free cookbooks as a fund raiser.
