The Ottawa Children's Choir (OCC) offers outstanding musical education and choral experience, emphasizing musicianship and vocal training, for musically talented children aged 8 to 15. Ottawa Children's Choir is comprised of four ensembles: (1) Viva Choir (training choir for children 8 - 11 years), (2) Concert Choir (intermediate choir for children 9 - 15 years), (3) Chamber Choir (advanced choir for children 11 - 15 years) and (4) Boys' Choir (for boys up to age 15 who voice may or may not have changed). OCC performs two concerts in its season. Our reputation within the choral community in Canada is well-revered and is documented through prestigious on-going performance schedules with the Royal Canadian Legion (Remembrance Day Ceremony at the National War Memorial in Ottawa), the Senate of Canada, European Union, the City of Ottawa, National Defence (for the Ceremony of the Battle of the Atlantic), UNISONG, and with many other groups including the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir, National Arts Centre Orchestra, Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, Ottawa Cantata Singers, Music & Beyond and others."
