We act as a clearing house to screen and assess peoples' needs in our community and link volunteers with those who truly need help; assist with rides to medical appointments, shopping, moving, minor home repairs, child care, tutoring and yard work for seniors, provide beds, bedding, furniture, food,cribs, crib mattresses, crib sheets and baby articles and formula as they are available; support"Bridges Out of Poverty" workshops and the "Circles' program; connect people with medical needs with donated wheelchairs, walker, crutches, canes and other medical goods; donate handwork to nursing home residents in need and hats and mittens to children in need; use dental assistance funds for dentures and emergency dental procedures for those in extreme need of dental care.
