The Society held its yearly convention which in 2016 was held at the University of Toronto. The Society paid its current dues to the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences and released two issues of the official journal along with the electronic newsletters distributed to all members. The Society was represented at meetings organized by the HSSFC. Plans are being made for the 2017 annual conference at the Ohio State University and organizing Roundtables and events for conference.
