Services Provided by The Royal Canadian Regiment Trust Fund
Provision of funds to The Royal Canadian Regiment and its component units to foster, maintain and promote traditions, efficiency and well-being of the military services in Canada. Funding of education bursaries at the University of New Brunswick, Acadia University, Western University, Royal Military College and Memorial University to students in programs related to environmental studies and international affairs. Provision of funds to support Regimental activities in areas that do not receive full or in some cases partial government funding, such as The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum, ceremonial uniforms and internal communications. Some funding is also provided to support veterans, soldiers and their families. For example, The Service and Assistance Fund provides limited, immediate assistance to members of the Regimental family in need. The Children of the Fallen Fund provides support for post-secondary education to the children of fallen soldiers.
