Runnymede Healthcare Centre, a Corporation without share capital under the Corporations Act (Ontario), provides complex continuing care to the residents of Ontario. Since 1945, it provides continuing, medically complex and specialized services to both young and older adults, sometimes over extended periods of time. Patients can have long term illnesses or disabilities typically requiring skilled, technology based care, not available at home or in medical care, to residents generally from the southwest quadrant of Toronto.
