BCANS continues to host educational talks and demonstrations related to the health of breast cancer patients, their families and the public. BCANS volunteers run an office for a place for people to phone or drop in for direction. It is also used for planning and reporting efforts. BCANS maintains two websites with links to others who give support and education. BCANS runs a network with national, regional and provincial health agencies. BCANS continues to build our resource centre with books, tapes and computers to assist breast cancer patients. BCANS is producing a "resource directory" which will be available free of charge to as many people as can be reached in Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada.
