The Parish is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth through the advancement of Roman Catholic religious worship, instruction, and ministry to both parishioners and the community at large. In this respect, the parish: holds worship services both daily and on weekends; provides catechesis to prepare individuals for the reception of sacraments; provides pastoral care to the sick, dying, and those in grief; counsels individuals and families in crisis; organizes special days for parish retreat and activities; assists the needy, homeless and those with mental disabilities in its neighbourhood by providing pastoral care, food vouchers, and clothing. This includes running programs such as Out of the Cold and St. Vincent de Paul; privately sponsors refugees and help them establish a new life in Canada
