The Mount Royal Choral Association (MRCA) is the parent organization of the choirs of the Mount Royal Conservatory and, as such, fulfills an essential role by funding the enrichment component of the Mount Royal Conservatory program. This component allows for all the extra activities offered by the program. It is MRCA that provides for camps and extra workshops, uniforms, extra performances, transportation when required and significant contribution to expenses of touring primarily through its gaming license and fundraising. MRCA contracts with an administrative coordinator 10 hours per week and assists in funding choral instruction, guest clinicians and guest artists who collaborate with the choirs.
