Provide equipment and personnel for marine search and rescue services. Promote safe boating practices through accident prevention awareness and safety education programs. Provide emergency first aid, marine towing, pumping out flooded vessels, and boat safety training. Assisting commercial vessels traveling the water ways of the Fraser River during fishery openings - by warning fishing vessels to clear their nets or making a clear course as an escort.
