The Coalition builds awareness about the importance of music education. We celebrate the power of music for young Canadians and in our Canadian Culture. The Coalition supports teachers by providing resources and tools, and curriculum guidelines. On the first Monday of May each year, the Coalition coordinates a simulaneous performance of music-makers across the country called Music Monday. We Voices for Music is a community engagement program to support the local activities of music programs in communities across the country. Youth4Music is a program that provides a platform for the voice of youth and leadership opportunities to make a make a difference for music in schools and communities.
