The Elders Caring Shelter's on going mandate is to fully sustain a fully accesible shelter that meets the needs of homeless at risk men and women over the age of 55. We have 16 bedrooms and are licensed for a total of 18 people at any given time. We eat in a common area. We are recipients of community donations, and are half funded by Alberta Homeless Supports. The balance of our budget comes from minimal rents, fundraising, and donations. We issue charitable receipts when requested.
