New ponds and channels have been created to reduce the amount of invasive plants in the wetland and to attract wildlife that had been diminishing in the past. New elevated viewing platforms next to the new ponds and channels have been constructed to enhance the visitors enjoyment of the different species of wildlife in the wetland.
