Mission Statement:to improve the quality of life for those affected by schizophrenia,psychosis and co-occuring disorders,through education and peer support. 1.Conduct public education workshops and seminars in Manitoba. 2.Facilitate peer support groups for consumers and family members. 3.Convene workshops and seminars on psycho-social rehabilitation. 4.Foster one on one consultation and advocate when needed. 5.Refer,as needed,to others in the mental health system. 6.Facilitate a special women's program. 7.Print and Mail to members quarterly the 'Reasons for Hope' newsletter.
