Financial assistance to the Air Force Officers' Association which shares the objectives of the BofBMF: Perpetuating the traditions of the flying services of the Commonwealth and to preserve the spirit of unity and service which inspired the airmen of these services in war, that they may dedicate themselves in time of peace to the preservation of peace with honour and to the making of a better Canada; to honour the memory of fallen comrades; to provide support to the furtherance of Air Force objectives. Financial assistance to the 427 Lion Squadron Association which shares the objectives of the BofBMF: The purpose of the Association is to ensure that the achievements, traditions and memories of our famous Squadron are maintained and shared; coordinating with the active Squadron to maintain and foster the sense of pride we feel with this famous and historic Squadron; participation in and support for all military memorials; publishing a Newsletter; maintaining a Web Site.
