Operation and maintenance by volunteers of an 85 acre conservation area on behalf of a conservation authority. Establishment and expansion of a memorial grove with trees planted on behalf of those donating them in memory of people or events. Maintenance of hiking and cycling trails throughout the site by volunteers. Establishment of designated tree planting areas for four area elementary schools for environmental studies, active participation by the schools, and continuing monitoring by successive years of students (note: 2015 was the fifth year of programme but planting was more generalized)
