TITR produced a 10 performance run of "Twelve Angry Jurors". We began work preparing/auditioning on a series of 3 original one-act plays for the Rattle Bag Minifest presented at tow small East/West venues in Vancouver. We have started auditioning performers for "Threepenny Opera" for the 2016/2017 season. We received a 2016 Vancouver Mayor's Arts Award for Community Engaged Arts, and continue to develop new talent for ongoing theatre work thru theatre acting classes at Community Centres in the BC Lower Mainland. There was a continued scouting trip to see availability of 3 to 4 small venues for a future out-of-town tour of original one-acts to BC's Powell River and Vancouver Island towns. We started to plan ahead for future 10 performance mainstage production of "Threepenny Opera" three-act musical; fundraising was worked on/continued with inquiries/visits to possible Vancouver venues; interviewing designers and musical conductor/coordinator. Grant writing continued thru our administrative personnel. There was preparation, notices sent out concerning TITR's 10th Biennial One-Act Play Writing Contest.
