YES has a 30 months project to develop and pilot a mentorship model/tool to help with the retention and advancement of women in STEM industries, which are traditionally dominated by men. YES also received 3 year funding to help youth who are suffering from situational depression and anxiety as a result of joblessness through support groups moderated by a YES counsellor and mental health professional.
