In the 2017 fiscal year the Society will present music at contemporary Canadian and International composers in four public concerts in Calgary. The Ensemble already appeared in Canmore, Alberta in June 2016. The Society will also present the 17th Land's End Composers Competition in partnership with the School of Creative and Performing Arts of the U of Calgary to promote excellence among young composers across Canada. There have also been two days of recording for the fifth Land's End CD in June 2016. Four further days of recording will take place in the fall and winter. The new CD will be released by Centrediscs in May 2017.
