Services Provided by Saturna Island Fire Protection Society
Purchase and maintenance of firefighting and emergency equipment exclusively for the use by volunteer firefighters and first responders to carry out their duties on Saturna Island. Programs include ongoing maintenance of two emergency services buildings and vehicles, training, and ongoing joint exercises with firefighter rope rescue team, Saturna Island Rescue, Parks Canada and Southern Gulf Island Emergency Prepardness Commission.
