Purpose: The Foundation was set up to assist individuals with lower income to help pay for their tuition and school payments for post secondary education. Funding: The Foundation has been supported solely by either David Armstrong or John Campbell Armstrong donating funds each year to meet the needs of the Foundation. There has been no outside fundraising or any other donation from another charity since inception. Both of the above contributors have died and the funds left by David Armstrong from his estate will fund the Foundation for years to come. The directors have indicated that once funds have diminished, they will establish a plan to raise money for the Foundation, however they believe this will not happen for a number of years.
