Services Provided by Providence Child Development Society
Providence provides therapeutic and educational services for young children with disabilities. With six preschools and a Community Services team, Providence serves more than 1,300 Calgary children and their families annually, providing early assessment, intensive therapy and support. Providence teachers and therapists support children with any type of disability, including those with speech and language delays, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, genetic conditions, deafness, blindness and those who are medically fragile. Programs include: Early Intervention- 19 to 30 months; Enriched Preschool- 2.8 to 4 years; Junior Kindergarten-4 to 5 years; Kindergarten-5 to 6 years; Community Services-10 months to 12 years.
