The following are events which took place at the library in 2016: Alzheimer monthly meetings, regional bee club monthly meetings, chess club weekly games, home-school monthly event for children and parents, Weekly Toddler Tots Reading Program, Monthly Circle of Music Club, and Senior's lunch and learn once a month. We also had various special interest events such as Tom the Tool Man, Doctor's Kitchen, Women's Wellness Workshop, Income Tax Clinic, Monthly Meditation sessions, Poetry Reading, Avro Arrow Anniversary Presentation, Easter Egg Hunt, Bike Clinic, Christophe the Magician, Science North Summer Caravan, 2016 Garden Tours, Chicken Night, Local History Night, Time to Plant Your Winter Garden, Town-Wide 2016 Scavenger Hunt, to name a few.
