Abbotsford Learning Plus Society continues to offer 48 classes per year from 10 a.m. till 12 noon, twice a week at the Abbotsford Recreation Centre. ur speakers include local professionals, university professors, Learning Plus participants, politicians, health professionals and more. We also offer 4 social programs per year at no cost to participants. Class attendees are mostly seniors although we are open to all. Most participants live independently, with some in assisted living. Our volunteers keep the programs running smoothly, providing services and assistance during the class sessions. We also participate in the city's annual Literacy Day and Heritage Fair, connecting us to students in the community.
