Provide a supportive role to the RCMP. Bonnyville VSU provides front line crisis intervention in terms of emotional support, info, and referrals. Our unit supports victims throughout the judicial system with file dispositions, court preparation, accompaniement, assistance with with Victim Impact, requesting restitution & applying for financial benefits. Our unit coordinates community awareness events & participates in fundraising initiatives. Our services are available 24/7 @ no charge, all services are confidential. We have an outreach office in the First Nations Community or Kehewin.
