1. The Society organizes and runs Scottish Country Dance programs featuring teaching and improvement of people's knowledge and ability in Scottish Country dancing from beginner to advanced levels. 2. The Society organizes and trains Scottish Country dancing demonstration teams to perform at all events where this can be arranged. 3. The Society encourages the performance of Scottish Country dancing in the Greater Vancouver area and encourages new members. The Society runs "Dancing in the Park" on Monday nights in Stanley Park in Vancouver during the summer and actively encourages bystanders and spectators to participate. During the winter the Society runs ceilidhs on Friday nights that are open to all. 4. The Society organizes events throughout the year to preserve the practice of Scottish Country dancing.
