Ottawa Therapy Dog registered members with their evaluated dogs visit patients at acute care hospitals, chronic care hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, pediatric hospitals and community hospitals under the direct supervision of health care professionals doing animal assisted therapy. Teams also work with children in schools and libraries in literacy programs.
