The primary activity of the Ralph Thornton Community Organization is raising funds for the programs of the Ralph Thornton Community Centre. The programs of the Ralph Thornton Community Centre include a mentorship program for the newcomer youth, children and youth programs for high-risk and at risk youth, and computer and internet use for the general public. The secondary function of the Ralph Thornton Community Organization is to fund the establishment and operation of other community programs in the South Riverdale area of the City of Toronto which provide workshops, athletics, drama, art, music, hobbies and recreation for the benefit of the general public.
