We protect and preserve land and watercourses that have recognized local and regional ecological value. We promote, facilitate and engage in land stewardship activities through public events and community outreach. We undertake research and enhance habitat for native species including rare and endangered species. These programs support our mandate: to obtain land (by way of donation, purchase or by having restrictions placed on land) for protecting habitat and wildlife.
