We fund raise to financially support Milo Library by donating funds for materials, supplies, programs, computers, furniture and shelving. We also have donations to Milo Library of non-cash gifts (mostly books) that are donated to us. Only very new and in excellent condition items are receipted. We lease a community archives room in Milo Library to properly store documents, records, photographs, maps, etc. important to our local history. Digitization of archival records has been ongoing for a number of year. An experienced archivist was hired by the library for a third year to continue with proper fonds descriptions, modifications of policy and procedure, and to oversee digitization of records. We now have a great deal of our archival material digitized and property indexed.
