PBLO creates and manages programs that use volunteer lawyers to provide free legal services to low income Ontarians and the charitable and non-profit sector that assist them. PBLO has several streams of service: litigants in the civil courts; children and youth, especially those with problems in hospitals and the education system; charities and non-profits with corporata law issues. In the past few years, PBLO has developed the Supreme Court of Canada Leave to Appeal review project; the Older Youth adoptions project; and the PBLO & Children's Hospital Projects.
