The Learning Place is a not-for-profit organization providing literacy education and key life-skills training to English-speaking adults in Peel Region (Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon). The organization is committed to helping non -readers with literacy education, as well as the Peel Community at large with improving key life skills such as applying for a job, maintaining personal banking, or using the internet. The Learning Place is also a community hub to request, design and run fee-paid courses on demand. The organization partners with business and organizations alike to deliver courses such as introduction to computers and the internet, or on Canadian citizenship, or driving.
